How many weeks are offered at LifeSeeds Camp? Where is camp held?
We now offer six weeks of camp! This year the first three sessions will be held at Cheltenham High School located in Wyncote, PA. The 4th, 5th and 6th sessions will be held at Arcadia University’s Kuch Athletic and Recreation Center and surrounding fields located in Glenside, PA. Please look for posted signs for directions where to walk in for camp at both locations.
When competing and playing in their sports, are children grouped according to age?
Not necessarily. Age is a consideration, but more important factors are the child’s size and ability level.
Does my child need to bring their own equipment?
Not necessarily. Please refer to attachment: Important Reminders for Camp (.pdf)
Do you offer and/or provide lunch for campers?
We do not offer or sell lunch. The only exception is Friday, when we provide pizza for everyone in camp.
Do you have a refrigerator for campers to keep cold items and/or lunches?
No. We recommend that campers bring their lunches in small coolers.
If my child wants to change sports after the first day, is that possible?
Absolutely. We want your child to enjoy their experience at LifeSeeds and we are willing to accommodate requests for a change of sports. We do ask that these changes be made by the end of the day on Monday.
If my child has never played a sport, will he or she enjoy the experience at LifeSeeds?
Our staff does a great job of creating an environment that is both challenging and rewarding for children of all levels. The result is that every child, whether they are inexperienced or a superstar, enjoys their experience at LifeSeeds.
Are parents and family members allowed to come to camp and watch games, guest speakers, and entertainers?
Family and friends are welcome to visit LifeSeeds. All guests will be required to sign in and wear a visitors pass.
What are the time frames for drop-off and pick-up?
